Why do I pay VAT/TAX or not?

All customers within the European Union (EU) are obliged to pay taxes (21%). Customers outside the EU get a 21% tax discount. This will be automatically applied based on your selected country at the checkout.
Please note: customs may charge your parcel. We cannot be held responsible for this and will not compensate you. To estimate the cost of custom charges, contact your local tax and/or post office.


What payment methods can I use, and why am I charged for some methods?

You can use the following payment methods: Paypal, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Carta Si, Cartes Bancaires, iDeal, Bancontact, Sofort banking, EPS, Giropay, KBC/CBC Payment Button, Belfius, ING Home’Pay and Bitcoin.
We charge a small fee for some payment methods. These are the exact same fees as the payment provider charges Fields & Forest. We choose to calculate these cost to our customers, so we can keep the price of our products as low as possible.

I did not receive an order confirmation. How come?

Please check your spambox. Unfortunately, it happens that automatic generated order confirmations end up there. If not, you can always send us an e-mail and we will provide it manually to you.

When do you ship my order?

We send out all orders within 24 hours after placement (on business days). However, in many cases much faster. All orders placed before 15:00 CET will be shipped the same (business) day.

How about custom charges, tax, VAT etc.?

We’re not responsible for any customs charges. We have no control over this. Unfortunately we can’t estimate custom charges as it may differ per country and even per person within the same country.

Customers outside EU get a 21% VAT discount. This will be automatically applied based on your selected country at the checkout.

My address is not correct, what happens to my parcel?

If your address is not correct, please contact us as soon as possible. If the parcel is shipped, we can’t change the address. It will be returned to sender (and we’ll ship it again). In some cases the courier abroad will temporarily store the parcel and contact us in order to change the address.

Who's your shipping partner?

We ship all parcels with PostNL International. It’s the Dutch original national post company. PostNL handles the parcels over to shipping partners abroad such as Hermes World in the UK and Germany.


How can I return (products of) my order?

If you’re not satisfied with your purchased products, you can send the products back within 14 days. The costs and risks of returns are for your own account, except for payments via Paypal. Customers completing their order via Paypal have free returns. Please be sure to activate Refunded Returns in your Paypal account and read the conditions. For more information and questions, please contact Paypal.

Make sure you add your name, address, order number and/or packing slip.
In the meanwhile, you can buy the (returned) product in the right size and/or color.

We will refund the purchase amount within 14 days after reception, if it meets the conditions below:

– the product is originally packed with original tags attached;
– the product is unworn and unwashed;
– you did not try to repair a defect yourself;
– the return parcel is sufficiently stamped.

If the return and/or product do not meet the conditions above, we can’t accept your return. The parcel will be send back to you at your own costs.

Important: if you are sending back goods from outside the EU, mark them as returned goods with 0 USD/EUR customs value. Otherwise we are charged for the return and cannot accept it.

Wool & Washing

What's so special about wool?

Wool has some unique properties that make it one of nature’s most amazing fibers. Wool is naturally antibacterial and isolating. It will keep you warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. It repels dirt, is self cleaning and does not need to be washed as often as cotton. It’s also an incredibly flexible and durable fiber; one fiber can be bent back more than 20,000 times without breaking and is said to be comparatively stronger than steel. These advantages combined makes wool an ideal fibre for producing sustainable garments.

How do I care for wool products?

Wool needs a little extra care compared to cotton. But I can be worn much more times than cotton. You can spot wash it or hang it outside for a night to fresh it up.

Moths love wool and they won’t treat it nicely by consuming it and leaving little holes. But you can protect your clothing. Wear it, or store it in closable bags or drawers. You can put cedar in your closet to repel moths or use bundles of rosemary, thyme, cloves, lavender, or bay leaves to keep moths away. Not enough? Lay your clothing a minimum of 24 hours in the freezer. This will kill moth eggs and larvae.

How do I wash wool products?

Hang it outside to refresh. Or wash very gently by hand in water that must stay the same cool temperature both for washing and rinsing. Changing temperature can shock the wool and shrink it. You should use a special soap for wool or shampoo. Do not wring, rub or squeeze.
